I worked at my school today. The library center is slowly coming along. I now have all the books sorted in their baskets and about half of them totally completed with their pockets and index cards in them. I am going to see my family for the next week but I am laminated a bunch of stuff (it is great to do it early in the summer before everyone starts laminating!) and I am taking it home to cut out and put Velcro dots on. I will also be making some things for my classroom such as Classroom Helper labels and Genre Wall labels. If anyone is interested I will post them as a PDF freebie on my TpT store. I will keep blogging updates and ideas! Thanks for all your continued support and sharing of ideas!
I so envy you for working at school this time of the year...if I went up now, I'd work every day and then when Aug. 16 rolled around, I'd be burned out!

The posters are already pdf file.
This past year I just let students take books from the classroom library, but I found that they weren't always returned in the best shape. This year each student will have their own checkout sheet in the library. This year I had a student, whom I'd had 2 years ago, return books she found while cleaning her room...
Although this is a Christmas party picture, you can see I have tall bookshelves (from our old library) where I have some books in baskets and other according to AR levels. http://www.flickr.com/photos/patbaker67/5281050814/in/set-72157624155963012
Sorry for rambling along...
